I'm thinking they have about 35,000 miles on them....

The front one is on the left, rear is on the right...

I'm pretty sure I changed them out at 10,000 miles.... just turned 45,000 miles.

Its winter.... I'm bored... time to do some maintenance

Awesome! Though that is really also a testament to how well your engine has been running.

I am good, just am due for tires, oil, and just about everything else on 3 bikes. The 1125R just needs oil. The XB needs a front end. I sat in the garage last weekend on my stool thinking to myself "Now I know why those guys in Danbury hated seeing my Uly come in for the next service every 5 or 6 weeks".

Photos are great : )

Just ordered 2 sets of those plugs!

Also switched over to 'winter oil' in the Uly, and was able to take both bikes out for good half hour rides today.

Advance Auto. They had to order them in, but it took less than 24 hours to get them.

$9.08 each

If I had other stuff I needed with them, I would've ordered them from American Sport Bike, I just hate to pay shipping on something this small.

Gaping irridiums can be tricky not to do damage! I just put mine in as they came - 16K miles and still very sparky.

Besides lasting longer, has there been any noticeable performance difference between the OEM and Iridium plugs?

They don't foul when cold nearly as easily as the stock plugs will.

Mikey, for the most part, unless it is something otherwise specific, plugs will be gapped from the factory for what they fit. Rather than risking the fairly fragile tip, I just check that the grounding electrode is at it's original 90 angle.
