So what did Santa Claus leave under the tree for you guys? I'll start, countdown in order of coolness:

3. "Universal" Logitech TV/DVR/DVD Rcvr remote control. Custom-programmed by my oldest son to guarantee to replace all THREE of my previous remotes with "one-button" convenience. Yes! Should lower my diastolic BP by 20 mm Hg at least.

2. The remaining 41 plastic-coated state maps to give me the entire 50-state USA (plus Canuck-land). Mrs. Greg apparently wants me out of the house more. Now I'm all set for 2010 Homecoming and the remainder of my trip east from there.

And the best gift of all...

1. A hard drive containing the ENTIRE SET of ALL TEN SEASONS of...MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000!!! Laboriously torrented by my oldest son over the last month or so. MST3K is the only thing that is guaranteed to make me LAUGH... I mean, who can watch "Sidehackers" w/o bustin' a gut? Absolutely amazing. I watched the first movie ("The Crawling Eye" with Forrest Tucker...recall seeing it in the theater back in '56 or so) last night. So great.

Anyway...that's what I got...who else got some good stuff?

Dr.G, my wife and I love MST3K. Recently started watching it on NetFlix streaming. I have the best wife ever. Went to see Avatar with me, loves Lord of the Rings and geeks out at any good Star Trek movies.

Garmin Nuvi 500 with "Scooter mount" kit.

Just got it mounted up tonight. It was difficult to find a place it didn't block my view of something I wanted to see. I ended up mounting it on the far right side of the cross bar. I can't quite see my oil pressure or neutral light, but I can see the low fuel and turn signal lights pretty well.

My Uly, the bag liners, risers, lowers, Laminar Lip, tools to work on it, etc. I got other stuff (books, beer club, pj's, etc) but the bike and it's fixin's were the BIGGIE! I have a great wife, for many reasons, the Uly being the least but still a cool one!

I got booze, subscriptions to the moto-mags of my choice and a gift certificate to get my pipes ceramic-coated. I was quite happy--until the good doctor revealed his trove of MST3K. Now I'm bitter and jealous.

We got a Wii and several lesser items.

We also had 4 nights in a row of family dinners, which weren't nearly as scary as I expected.

The kids had a blast and somehow managed to have the gift opening session last for hours and not just a few minutes.

I did not get a Triumph Street Triple.

I did not get a new DSLR.

I did not get a new GPS.

I did not get a date with Jessica Alba.

I received the Godfather Trilogy DVD set, some cologne (is that a hint?), a grill brush, a new "charcoal chimney", a Buell "Assembly Line" model, and a Buell T-shirt (unfortunately a XXL size based on a Bornean pygmy headhunter; I'm just sayin' it's sized a bit small!; Bummer!!)

And I gave the Significant Other a new stove for her new (to her) house.

Went on a Caribbean cruise with the family. Left 2 feet of snow for 80 degree temps and white sandy beaches. Might have been the best Christmas ever. btw, Honda must be the only bike dealer in the bahamas, i saw about 8 xr650s, and a really cool old xl350, but no buells.
