We have a ton of great roads around here. It's hard to go anywhere, without having a great ride. |

Welcome to Badweb!.... Kathy is crazy, she knows White Uly is by far the fastest. +1 on that. Arkansas is a nice place I've ridden there a few times. |

Welcome from a Tulsa, Ok ULY rider. Just did an awesome 3 days in Arkansas running HWYs 123, 7, 16, 341, 62,and 90 in Missouri. The ULY shines on those roads. (Message edited by myzen on December 12, 2009) |

Welcome aboard! I just picked up my XT today. Grips can get too hot, bags hold too much stuff, seat's too comfortable, too fast. I think I'll get used to it though. |

Welcome. Don't believe what the others say -"Racing Red" is by far the fastest. Wish I was there riding now. Speaking of white, it's snowing here and headed towards a few degrees below zero tonight. |

Sorry to all who made untrue and unfounded statements regarding color. Camo is definitely the fastest! BTW, Welcome Dave! |

Welcome Dave. It's good to have you with us. This forum, which I'm new to as well, is extremely pleasant and helpful. You'll enjoy it. |

Welcome! I'm pretty new to riding Buells myself - I expect to get my first Buell (XT) in the next week or two. Since I'm in Wisconsin, I probably won't be doing much riding until Spring unless that global warming kicks in. |

Welcome! I got my X back in February, and I've been loving it ever since. You made a great choice. But let me set the record straight as far as color goes. As everyone knows (but isn't willing to admit), blue's the only color there is. White's just a very light blue. In the same way, black is a very dark blue. Red and yellow are just mixed up blues, and camo's really just blue from 'way out in left field. |

Congrats and welcome. I am new to Buells myself, picking up a used'06 X a few months ago. This is a great forum with very helpful and knowledgeable members... and guys like me who attempt to be helpful but should largely be ignored. |

Any kind of coloring at all just adds extra weight which will slow down your bike by probably 10-15 MPH. Natural carbon fiber is going to be MUCH thinner and faster than any of the colored ones........ |
