I used Whelan TIR-3 but that is a neat looking light. | ||

Yes! I've seen one in person on the back of a Uly! It was absolutely stupid bright! (And I mean that in a good way). He had a pelecan top case and just bolted this thing to the bottom of it. Not sure how you'd attach it to a stock Uly. But it's just a 'bar', it couldn't be too hard. | ||

I've seen the Whelen TIR-3's on the handguards of a Uly. One side was blue and the other was red and I thought "what a nice way to get the attention of anyone around you. I might like a pair for my Uly, when I get one". The Uly belonged to the local constable in a township outside of Scranton, PA and was in full plain view in my rearview as I sat along a Pennsylvania roadside wondering how my 'future' Uly would look with these on the handguards also. They were pretty nice units on the rear and sides of both of his side cases as well as his top case. I got off with a warning. But I wrote the name of those Whelen TIR-3's down and said to myself "self, remember to look those up on the web". |
