Every time I get my stock mirrors set where I want them they seam to move within a few hundred miles. I have bar end mirrors on the Lightning that area great, but wanted a higher mounted mirror on the Uly. I've seen some guys with Aprilia mirrors, how do they work?

The Aprilia mirrors are a big improvement although not perfect. I'd prefer they stuck out another inch or two. I put some small spot mirrors on mine and that helps some.

Probably the best mod I made to the bike, other than the comfort kit. Defiantly worth the money.

Great, I will check them out. Do they turn in the compression fitting like the buells. I guess I need to CRANK them down even harder. Maybe a little locktite.

For the stockers, take them off.

Slide the compression 'acorn' up the stem.

Wrap the base, where the acorn grips, with a layer or 2 of electrical tape.

Reinstall.

Me...I run 1125CR mirrors so I could put aux lights in the turn signal holes.

i think height might make a difference on using the tuono mirrors cause i don't have any problem with mine on the uly. we also have them on the blazt and will probably put them on the lightning also. they work alot better than stock imo.

Get a pair of anti-vibration mounts for a Kawasaki KLR 650 for your Tuono mirrors, they will do just what you want.

Was it a pain to install the CR mirrors? I really like the look of your bike with those mirrors.

The Tuonos work great, I can actually see what is PAST my shoulder. Been rocking them for over 3 years, and never a break in any fall down
