I have spare ignition keys but I only have one Hepco-Becker case key. Seems the previous owner kept the spare(s).

This got me to thinking, as the Buell factory approaches the dark day, does anyone know from whence future keys will come? Is the Buell blank known as a different key elsewhere?

I figure I could probably get case keys from Hepco-Becker and will contact them shortly unless someone knows of something different/better/easier.

For Top(42&50l)and Side Case Item13:

13 = Schlüssel Art.-Nr. 700.110

I suppose you must indicate the number on the key for getting the same.

HB cannot get Buell-coded keys, at least not according to the vendor I'm using.

Complete lock sets for Journey bags, with HB key codes, are only about $12/each though. So, worst case, get HB cylinders for open/close and use the Buell key for on/off bike latches (and leave it home in the garage if you know your bags are going to stay on).

I also think a good locksmith can reproduce the keys, from what I've heard they're a relatively standard blank.

Yes the Buell key's are different than the normal H&B keys. Just order a spare set from your dealer.
