Anybody know where I can get an original buell repair manual for the 07 xb12x ?

I have plenty left on my 4 yr warranty and dont plan to ever sell this awesome bike so .....I'd like to get one before they go out of print or something.

Thanks

Your favorite dealer, its part number 99494-07Y

Liberty Harley (Badweb sponsor) usually has it in stock. : )

I highly recommend the manual. It's very thick and detailed, but easy to follow with lots of trouble-shooting flows.

And as a testament to our litigious culture, it's jam packed with warnings about how you can kill yourself while working on the bike. Like at least half the book is warnings: Don't drink the gas, don't drop the bike on your head, don't hold on to both battery poles at the same time...

Makes you wonder just how many have drunk the gas or dropped the bike on their head

I wonder if the new handle bar bags come with a warning about storing lip balm near fuel filler openings.

I just bought an 07 XB12X repair manual on eBay for about $45 (incl s/h). Was described as "new, in plastic"

Since I have a 07 XB12X, it felt like fate when I discovered it on eBay and won the auction. (I hope this line works here cuz it don't work fer $*&% at home.)

I'm glad to have the manual. I find it useful in a variety of ways. I must say, however, that there's some mystery I don't get. In many sections, it will refer to a different part of the manual, and I can't figure out what it means. For example, and I'm making the numbers up here, it might say in the "change oil filter" section, "remove chin cover (3.22)" and neither image 3.22 nor section 3.22 nor page 3.22 will have anything to do with what is referenced.

Skifastbadly,
I had the same problem but my trusty wife figured it out! Go to the 'Table Of Contents' in the front section of the book and you'll find the 3.22, in numerical order. Under that '3.22' it will reference a page no. and you'll find the correct info. there. The Chin Fairing is what I was looking for when we discovered this. I went to page 2-52, figure 2-52 and nothing! Finally, my wife found 2.52 (dot, not dash) in the Table of Contents. Good luck.

Liberty offers 10% off to Badwebbers, so technically it wouldn't be full price ; )

I think I saw one on the shelf at High Country last weekend. I needed '08XT manual, and had to order it, but I'm sure they had an '07.

Just my 2 cents but you can order it through Chicago Harley for $48 plus a few bucks for shipping, no sales tax. On the front page just put in your part# and it is generally 20% off.

And about a month after you place your order, they send you an email that its out of stock, and they will order it, then ship it to you a month later. Been there, done that.
