I needed more outlets so I wired this in.

Now I can power two GPS's and charge my cell phone at the same time. Two are key power and one is hot at all times off the red ignition wire.

I got my Ram mounts today, one is the handle bar mount for the VistaC and I rigged the Nuvi with this master cylinder mount. These are really solid and easy to use mounts.

When I stop somewhere I can put the GPS's in the tank bag out of sight.
These's are a lot better than the homemade mounts I was using.

Personally I love the boat trailer connector used.... and the fact that you are in MN.... ironically coincidental.... (does that make sense???)

I grew up all around MN (IA & SD) and vacationed there every year.... too many great memories.... MN rocks... but you have to like ice fishing or snowmobiling ....

very nicely done... I like....

Cheers-pete

Thanks pete
MN is great 9 months of the year, then the roads ice over and it's not so great.
15,291 lakes makes for some good fishing and boating.
When the lake by my house freezes over it's like a two mile long race track for snowmobiling and they make a M/C ice racing course.

Whisper-I ordered that from the Ram mounts website. You have to search the all m/c mounts section, they said it was universal so I ordered it and it fit perfect.I have the part # and price at home if you need it.

The other nice thing about having two gps's mounted is if you move them past the side of the w/s you get more wind protection.
When I show my wife the farckles I'm working on I get that blank look.
Anyone else have that problem?

See-It is me

But really the VistaC I've had for years,I use it on mountain bike, pedal road bike, kayak, snowmobile,ATV,hiking and fishing.
It marks waypoints for ice fishing and leaves a track line.
The Nuvi 205 has better NAV and is easier to use with the touch screen.I must have both.
So maybe there is a method to the madness.

Can you so me where/how you wired the ground wire for all three? Do they all go into, then to the ground wire on the boat connect?

Thanks!
