Kick Ash with X-guard (M3224.4A8AMCD). I used to run a magnetic tank bag on the R, but the V-twin plus one grain of sand will scuff the hell out of the airbox. No Buell letters to clean between, but have my BoB sticker showing thru from the air box!

Bar ends are CRG Lane-splitters. With the Uly's dirtbike bars, they're only a few degrees lower in my field-of-view when compared to the stock lollipops. Wide-angle, zero shake, and they survived when the bike decided to "take a nap" in the mud.

Try to get the tailbag velcro straps to go thru the holes in the beaver tail, or use some big zip-ties. Then it can't slide off (or get easily stolen). -Nadz

Now that I Look at it I can see it is translucent. I have the CRG impostors on the lightning. They are convex and rattle resistant too, work great! I may consider them for the Uly, or the Aprilia mirrors. Either way the lolli pops are driving me nuts!

Nadz,
You have a gps grid for that Buellville sign? I've been all over that area trying to find that sign. What road is it on?

Buellville is on Rt 92 between Manlius and the hamlet of Oran. The sign is on the north side of the road across the street from Cross Creek Nurseries. If you go to Google maps and type in Manlius, NY, Buellville is shown. I'm a technophobe so no gps, I use maps and the seat of my pants to navigate.

Using the street view mode I found the pole, but the sign is missing. It's obviously back up and new looking in Nadz's photo.

here are some lovely aluminum boxes, and mighty fine prices as well. I'm thinking these are the ones I'm going to get if I can get them before the supposed price increase.

Howdy Rotor, it's at 18TVN2292459541.
For all others, N42.98462 W75.94538 as of 2009-11-07.

I only found it because Starwolve did first, it's a little sign nowhere near the map location.

Rotor, you get to the box yet? -Nadz

Eshaw, those aluminum cases look amazing! I'm quite partial to top-loaders having used that setup on my Sportster for years. Those cases look bullet-proof!

I'm also very partial to top loaders... question though, without racks on to measure from, I'm not sure which size to get. I'm thinking the 40liter size is about as wide as one would want on an uly... anyone have any thoughts on that. I'd wait for the 45's but I think they would be to wide???

I'm planning to get the hoops from twisted throttle

the cases I'm talking about are a few lines up.

HotDog

Sorry for the slow response. Been travelin' for work. Don't remember the exact cost right now and I'm still on the road. If you're still interested, let me know and I'll reply this weekend.
