Greetings! Nice place you got here. Brought home a new '09 Uly XT yesterday. For once in my life a screaming good deal and my ability to take advantage of it coincided.

I've also got a Guzzi Breva 750 in the stable, my first bike. The Uly is quite the step up performance/comfort/feature wise. Lots of nice little details. Sporty, yet still up for long days and touring with the wife. I'm pretty damn excited.

One quick question. Is the sae plug sticking out of the left side intended for use with a battery tender?

Thanks!

Congrats on the Uly and welcome to Badweb. Seems like it will make a nice compliment to the Breva.

If it's a black plug, that's probably what it is. There's a gray Bosch plug with a cap in the same general area that's for hooking up the ECM diagnostic cable.

I have to say, I get a little choked up when I see a brand-new Buell, especially an '09 with some of the cool new stylistic improvements like the black rims and engine. And red for the XT...that was a great idea.

Bums me out.

Going for a long ride this weekend.

Very pretty, Calamari. Man, that's 'almost' as pretty as my new 2008 Midnight Black XT! lol

Congratulations. I LOVE the bike and I'm sure you will.

To be honest, I'm considering finding out how fast rhino liner black is.

Yeah, not looking to be original. Just looking to make it not red. A durable bed liner black just fits my sense of practicoolness.
