Will a K&N air cleaner improve performance if no engine mods are performed? Does it do a better job than the stock air cleaner? Is the Buell, cleanable, high flow air cleaner a re-branded K&N? Ths.

A filter alone isn't enough to register on a dyno. Does it help? It might. I wouldn't bother till you get to 20k miles, thats the replacement interval for the filter.

I have read elsewhere the Buell pro filter is a K&N reboxed.

the white buell filter is not a K+N, the older red filters were.
i'll look for the K+N # and post it later.
I swear by them for all my street needs but not dirt
