On the Ulysses kickstand. I mount my Uly like a horse - step up on the peg on either side and swing my leg over. I have the front brake set. 13,000 miles it's held up. All looks to be okay.

I do the same, but I needed to repalce left front fork seal. I wonder if this ounting method puts too much side load on seal?

Naaa - that front fork compressing in a pot hole @ 70mph puts alot more pressure on the seal than mounting the machine ever would. The biggest problem is slipping off a wet / muddy peg when mounting. i changed to Precision Engineering pegs just for that reason. Problem solved. j
