I forgot that I still have an ad in the Cycle Trader, and got a call from a guy looking for a Uly.

I told him he'd be better off getting a brand new one because the prices had dropped. He told me that they were getting hard to come by, because people were scooping them up.

Any truth to that?

Local dealer has a couple, but is not deep discounting them. Seems to think the prices will stabilize a lot higher when the supply dwindles. Wasn't too interested in taking mine in on a trade though.

A 2010 Uly with the new wheel and bearings will be very rare indeed.

ASAP-Advice and or opinions... Maybe rhetorical in nature, but here goes... NEW 09 XT 9300 out the door. Grab?
Next question, but more direct... anyone have the stock numbers for the needed parts to do the xb9 primary swap and cost? My dealer... seems a bit confused to say the least.

The crank is bigger on the 08+ bikes. You can order the front sprocket, chain and gasket from the dealer, it's all factory parts. AS has them in stock and ready to ship most of the time, unlike most dealers.

We sold out of XB12X's last week, the last XB12XT, an '08 demo unit, sold Sat. I can still order new XB12's though, as of yesterday at least.

...I have my loaded 2007 with < 5000 miles with an extended warranty for 4 more years and unlimited miles (for what that's worth) on the classifieds.
