Said my good-byes about a month ago when I sold my Uly and brought a Honda ST.

Well I'm back, just couldn't pass up the latest Buell prices. I brought an '09 City X today. I know it's not a Uly, but still a fun bike.

I will keep my ST for long distant rides and ride the City X when the hooligan in me wants to come out.

Welcome back, Bob! I'm in the process of buying a Guzzi Norge (it's turned into a long story). I was originally going to sell my XT in the Spring, but with all the corporate BS that H-D is throwing around, I decided to just keep it. I don't know if a good handling American motorcycle will ever be built again.
Besides, I just wouldn't feel right riding to Homecoming 2010 on a Guzzi.

Hey Bob - well it ain't no Uly...but don't tell 'cityX' that. I rode both my Uly and St last weekend (had to warm up the ST to change oil & winterize it) No such treatment of the Uly - it's going to be in the teeth of the best the NW winters can throw at it. Riding them back to back is a sobering comparison. Still keeping them both for different applications...just like the KLR. Welcome back!... though you weren't gone long enough to have actually left. You now have an ST & a brand new collectors item.

Bob, is the Firebolt still at Ukes or has he completely sold out?

Don, Firebolt was still there, their last bike.
Gene was going to check with the factory to see if there are any move Buells available.

There should be, since they still have some production days left. The salesman said that two weeks ago their shop had 20 Buells, now they have one.

Crusty, I looked at the Norge too. Since ride.

Jphish, still haven't found that part yet.

It's good to be back.

Bob

At least one of the riders who went to the factory on the 26th reported that the bikes he saw being built were slated for Europe.

Nearly all their recent production including most of the crates you see in pictures here are slated to go to Japan or Europe. There was not a build sheet to be seen that said DOM and I was looking.
