Thanks for the story, but a few things things. "Originally released two-years ago" First model year was 2006. and truly handles better, than the more expensive air-cooled Ducati Multistrada. Can't agree with that having owned both, but just my opinion. I think they both handle great. | ||

Yes the XT model (lower and bags are standard) came out 2 years ago, while the X came out in 06.  Oh, and if you want an 1125 Uly, you are gonna have to build one yourself  | ||

That is the coolest photochop I have seen for the 1125. Had Buell made that I would have bought one in a instant. | ||

BTW- they evidently have plenty of new Ulys staged at the factory for shipment. Check out this pic from the photos thread for the ride to the factory yesterday:  Several police Ulys in evidence too. | ||

Not to thread-jack but what's going to happen to all those 2010 Ulys at the factory? I would hate to think that HD would destroy them ala the Blast-cube incident. | ||

I guess we're waiting to find out. Some dealers have indicated they're expecting 2010 models so hopefully they'll be for sale. | ||

They will be shipped to dealers and sold like any other bike. | ||

I just talked to Frederick HD last night. They asked for a deposit and would order one for shipment or find one and get it to the store for a customer. The price they quoted was pretty good too for an XT they wanted 10,300 out the door and the X was around 8,???. | ||

K - sounds about right. My notepad disappeared while I was up in ET this weekend...but I want to say the X is $8495. We have confirmed some orders. Should have (2) X and (1) XT (in 2010's), if they ship what we asked for. As noted above...we will bring a bike in for a customer if we can locate one to get our hands on. I'd pull a bike from a "don't care" dealer in a heartbeat to put it in the hands of an enthusiast. |
