bike over max gross 40-50lbs with wife and i. at speed on hwy,rubbing vibration if bike hits minor bumps. belt and fender no abrasion or scuff. it only takes 3-4 inches of light rear shock compressing to vibrate strongly. dampener at max setting. called factory, said strap down tight to dyno and observe and listen for. i,m 100 miles from nearest shop with no dyno,suggestions please.

I think that's basically normal. With my bike loaded at or near the rated GVW, I've noticed the same thing on dips and bumps. My guess is it's one or both isolators being severely compressed under load so that more vibration is transferred from the engine to the frame.

I think all you can do is ride it and hope nothing breaks. I don't see why it would, but you have substantially exceeded the manufacturer's recommended limits so you're on your own.
