Stopped by the dealership where I bought my 08 Uly 2 years ago. Faultline HD in Fremont. The good news is that they will still be servicing Buells. They had about 9 bikes all at fire sale prices. As much as I wanted to buy them all to show them that they are loved I didn't. I can't afford the extended return on the investment. On the flip side, the ride is about 40 miles each way. I have been crazy busy and my ride time consisted of work commutes (6 miles). During the longer ride I reaffirmed my love for this bike. I could have traded my Uly for any bike in the showroom and I wanted not a single one, the 1125 did look juicy though. So I worked out some minor warranty stuff before my warranty expires and I rode home totally content. There is not a single bike in production today that I would buy to replace my Uly. When, and I mean when and not if, Erik returns the Uly will be significantly different. Probably better, but that's like saying a blond is better than a brunette...... Raingear is packed in the cases, and the cars have not left the driveway all week, we're riding our Buells everywhere we need to go. We love our Buells! B. | ||
