Short answer, no. They are mounted to the motor on the 1125's and the frame has a small cutout in it for the scoop. | ||

Interesting. I love the 1125CR. I had wanted one since it came out. But, I am not gonna get rid of my Uly because it is so versatile with the cases on it. Are those scoops simply that - air scoops, or do they have radiators going on inside them? | ||

They have radiators, springs, plumbing and fans all under it. The split radiator design allows the motor to be pushed forward more for better weight distribution.  | ||

If my 1125's got 85mpg and the tires weren't $30 each, I wouldn't have a need for any air cooled lump especially the Blast. I would just use it on those rare occasions when I want to heat up my right leg and then have the thing buck when it coughs and seize a wheel bearing. Oh, and my dentist appreciates not having to replace all my fillings every 2 months now! | ||
