My new to me 07 Uly came with a scratched up LS luggage. Does anybody happen to know the part number to replace this?

I called my local dealer and was told then will look it up when they get time over the next couple days : (

I was going to hold off but I guess I should think about buying it now.

The silver parts are fine, just the black is scratched up. If the silver comes off (did not look that close yet) I could move it over to new case.

Silver comes off.

Gray bumper comes off.

Latch comes off.

I'd pull it all off, mask the back half of the bag, and paint it with texture black paint. A new bag is going to be a couple hundred bucks.

The bags are Hepco-Becker Journey 42L cases. You can get them from a H-B distributor; only thing different is the Buell logo / HB logo medallion, but it just sticks on.

I was also told, by someone at Hepco-Becker that the color of the silver part has a bronze tint so you cannot get a good match from Hepco-Becker for the silver part. Is this true, my silver/bronze tint on the right side is scratched up. a

The panel on the Uly bags is the same color as the Uly tail section and engine cases - I believe they call it Titanium. You can get it as an aerosol touchup AFAIK.

I painted mine orange to match my '06s bodywork. Ford Grabber Orange, in Testors plastic model paint. : )

I did the rubber bumpers with the Krylon fusion. It's holding up awesome.

The model paint....well, it was six bucks : )

Wow, I was hoping I could buy just the outer 1/2 of the black lid. I figure I am going to scratch it anyway, instead, someone else put the first scratch in it. It adds character.

My 87 BMW k100 rs was real clean, until I backed a leaf rack behind my ATV into it, and it fell over in slow motion. Now it has character as well.

Thanks!
Will R
