I like LED's for their attention-grabbing instant-on characteristic. Anyone got pictures of upgraded blinkies? -Nadz

The 1125R signals are nice and bright. They are $50 each though.

BA15 3Watt 1156 amber LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com., these will command attention. Get the FL2-red flasher also. I removed the opaque inserts and polished all that writing off the blinker lenses.

Ron, I thought I was the only one so anal- I smoothed out mine too!

Frog- I like the 1125's, got a P/N? I heard they had some reliability issues...

Also thinking about these, ...they seem to be working for my brother.

Yes the first batch had bad circuity and would fail prematurely. The revised ones are problem free.

Here ya go.

The pictures in the thread are old. When I first asked Reuel to make the LED inserts, I had the "bright" idea of making some of the LED's act as full time running lights and some of them dedicated as turn signals. This didn't work well because at a distance, the flashing LED's were washed out by the running light LED's.

Reuel then designed two micro controllers (one for the front and one for the rear) which now cause all of the LED's to illuminate together as running lights and then all of them cycle on/off as turn signals.

Reuel does great work...the LED boards are top quality.

You can contact him through his site. Hope this helps.
