Ski - Now that you're in the land of wet snow you'll need to change your moniker to 'Skislowprettygood' - sorry you'll miss the celebration. I'm sure we'll be having another when our REALLY nice winter weather arrives. j |

I wish I could be there with all of you, it sound like a great opportunity to meet and network with a lot of the PNW Buellers. It might make for a great photo op seen as a lot of us are working on Monday. Have a great ride and I hope to see you on the slab. |

Jphish, I was going to try to be there for the photo but if everyone is @ the park and ride in the morning that might work. I'll bring my digital camera also. |

Hi Tim. I know it's hard for you to get out much now with school and all. You should ride 25 miles one way to be in the picture He He. |

Darren got your text. Sounds like you guys had a good time. Wish i could have gone all day. It was nice to meet everyone. We'll have to try it again sometime. I tried to post the pictures I have but they are too big and I'm too computer stupid to reduce them. Anyway it was fun to see you guys off. C U Later. |

David - I'm glad the pics were too big to post...particularly the one of me upside down in the ditch. Fun ride & great to meet all of you fellow Buellers. Hope the rest of the adventure greeted the group with open gates and sunshine. Thanks to Jerry for putting it together and Zumoing such a great route on roads less traveled. |

Tomorrow is 'memorial day' in E Troy. Most of the PNW chapter of the Buell asylum will not be able to attend. In spite of that there will be a brief memorial ride & service (lunch?) tomorrow. Weather & enthusiasm uncertain - but Pnw uly and I are going anyway. I have 2 routes considered, with no preference - 1) we meet off exit 102 on I-5 (Tumwater) Turn right at end of off ramp - there is a chevron station & Nickelby's restaurant on your right - Meet at restaurant @ 9am. Have a short 2-3 hr ride planned. Option 2)- Put on rain gear, meet somewhere near Tacoma, hit a coffee shop... & hunker down. I'm OK either way. Let me know of your interest or if you got any other ideas / suggestions. j |

Was a great day of riding and meeting the local Buell contingent. Great roads and a dry October weekend day - - go figure. The Brooklyn Tavern was the highlight, second to the twisties. . . John - "Check Engine" light came on intermittently towards the end of day, for longer periods as I hit the slab home from Olympia. ECM? Any issue riding before it goes into the shop for warranty work? Paul |

"This ain't no HOG ride!" Pnw_uly, loved that quote that you gave as I had to peel off and head home. I wish I could have continued the ride with you guys. Beautiful area, great riding terrain, and even better riding companions. it was fun riding with such great Buell enthusiasts and one "Katoom" rider. Jerry, thanks again for leading us on such an awesome ride. Looking forward to riding with you all again Darren (Message edited by liv2 on October 26, 2009) |

Geez Paul - Hard to say. One would have to diagnose the fault code that accompanies the CEL illumination. (sent you PM) I think it maybe wise (but hell - we own Buells - in retrospect, how wise is that?) to get that troublesome little yellow light checked out before one heads into the 'booneys'. It maybe nothing, but increasing frequency / duration is worth paying attention to. Let's postpone our ride to post XT diagnosis. We still got lot's of bad weather ahead of us - so plenty of riding opportunities. Let me know if you get stranded on the way to the dealer - I have a Kendon MC trailer. 791-7270 cell. j |

Well - its 7PM on Sun eve & it appears there is no one that either play hooky, or make the Monday ride with a fully operational bike. So...regretably I have canceled the trip. Think I'll either sleep in or wash the cat. Chow all, j |

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the ride. I tried my best to make sure it wasn't just a typical HOG ride. There is no way in hell I could lead an all day HOG parade. lol Hopefully the pace(!!) and distance was OK. (even though Paul, my sis Rene, and Tracy were the only one to hang in for the whole ride). Tracy and I logged almost 300 miles for the whole day. I appreciate everyone who made it, considering so many of you had prior commitments. That says a lot about the enthusiasm, camaraderie, and the true love of riding that us Buell riders exhibit. Special thanks to John for getting this ball rolling as the original poster. I'm glad you and I finally got to meet in person. (Message edited by debueller on October 26, 2009) |

sorry I missed it...I live in Ballard and they had the viaduct closed which is my shortcut south. Do you have a map of the ride...I'd like to hit it up some time. |

Sorry Judotrip the only record of the route I have is in GPX format for Garmin's Mapsource. I'm not sure I could post it here, but I should be able to email it. Shoot me a pm and I'll try to attach it to a email and send it to you |

Jerry - Thanks for playing 'fearless leader' for the day. It was good to finally meet you & the rest of the group as well. We'll have to do a fork oil or tire change sometime. (the line forms to the left(> Please thank Rene for taking the rear and herding us cats. She is a pretty darn fine rider on that big orange 990. Chow, j |

sorry I missed you guys, I had to run to Wenatchee to pick up my bike and bring her back before the snow hit. It was a tough 1.75 months without the dirty lil biatch |
