I let the Uly tip over while trailered a few weeks back and it shattered the right side mirror. I'm looking for a bar-end mirror to replace it with and wonder what others have used. I looked at a few at Cycle Gear here in Nashville and the quality seemed awful, very blurry. I might even go so far as to replace both factory mirrors with an aftermarket set if need be. Any suggestions or recommendations will be most appreciated. Jack |

Aprilia mirrors are a common upgrade, they aren't barends though. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16113.html |

Bar end mirrors are the first thing to break in a tipover! The Aprilia mirrors are crash tested by me, took about 5 wrecks to finally do them in. |

I've got 1125CR mirrors on my Uly, love 'em. Not as buzz-free as the Tuonos...but it let me put aux lights where my turn signals used to be, and they stick out further than the lollipops did so I don't see as much shoulder in the image. |

Rat... I gather the 1125 mirrors have signal lights in them? Do they attach the same as the Uly's stock mirrors? I like the idea of having aux lights. Answered my own question... http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/18019.html (Message edited by 70_West on October 14, 2009) |

If you go with the bar-end route, I suggest going with a bicycle variety. They are cheap and lightweight. My friend had them on his XB12s... until it tipped over. |
