Is the Pro-Taper Raptor bar the closest aftermarket bar to the stock Uly bar? I tried searching but didn't get a conclusive answer.

Thanks, Murf2

I did some research about this time last year and posted it on ADV

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38 4476

I ended up going with the Rox Risers. May upgrade bars one day, but there is so much crap on my handlebars unless they are broken it won't be worth it to disassemble.

I use the Raptor bars on mine. They are a little lower (a little over an inch IIRC), and they are more forward because of less sweep angle (which I really like). You can get close to the stock height if you use a set of risers from PE in addition to their 1-1/8" bar adapters. I have tried both ways...and like the extra height on road trips, but love the lower height when carving through the mountains.

Thanks Froggy, Johnboy777 Just what I need to know. So a stock bar would be cheaper than aftermarket because I would have to change risers with an aftermarket bar, correct? Now if I can just fins a used stock set.

Thanks, Murf2
