while i was out riding last night i was thinking about how happy i am that i traded the harley for the buell, about the only thing i miss is the rumble i would get from my rinehart true duals. if i put a spec ops or a drummer on my bike do i have to mod anything else or is it basically just plug and play with the new can?or are there any other options i should consider?

For a deeper rumble, chili with lots of onions always works for me.

You might try holding the exhaust valve open with a fishing split shot on the actuating cable above the air filter. I guess some torque will suffer but will give you an idea of what your bike will sound like with a deeper rumble.

Just put it on... ride at 3000 rpm for awhile... shut it off... (thumb and key)
repeat....
Ride at 3000 rpm for awhile.... shut it off (thumb and key)

Do that a few times so it "learns" and you will be good to go....

The real question is "What is it doing with the steroids?".

Or did you mean "hemorrhoids"?

Or maybe "on steroids"?

Just kidding, I must be tired because I laughed a bit when I read your post, and then re-read it about 10 times laughing even more.

Oops my bad, I see English may not be your first language. No harm meant, it just struck me as funny.

Well maybe my english is not perfect but is based on UK and not US, what I went to CA on holiday then english spoken with my friend was quite different so I guess UK english and US english differ quite a bit words like centre-center same meaning different spelling.
About D&D, add a KN air filter, open air box, catch can, and get the right maps (American Sport Bike) and you have a new uly riding experience.

Pontlee77 (or anyone else who might know);
> add a ... catch can, ... and you have a new uly riding experience.

I must be missing something. What does adding a catch-can do for performance? Does it do something besides removing oil overflow from the incoming air, or is it something else? I'm having a hard time imagining that there's enough oil normally going into the incoming air for it to matter one way or another. Of course, that may just be because I have a limited imigination, I guess...

Why do the English put "R's" on words
that don't have an "R" at the end?
Like Honder? Just wondering!
