This cover fits nicely over the Uly, with or without the side bags attached. I do not have the top rack/case but it looks like there is plenty of room for a big top case. The material has a soft smooth finish that does not scuff up the plastic.

Just tested it out in some light rain the other day and it only repels water initially and then gets soaked through and sticks to the bike.

EDIT:
Title should read Model#94457-05YA for the "City" cover, not 94459-05YA for the Uly "Fortress" cover

The built in zippered pocket is a nice feature making it pretty compact easily. Plus you can use it as a pillow for camping.

Soak it with a can of waterproofing spray and that should do the trick.

That's a good idea. I am about to ride over to REI, I will pick some spray up and see how it works.

It looks like the Buell cover isn't intended for extended outdoor or rainy day use - probably just for covering it temporarily while you run around on foot, leaving it in a parking garage, and reducing the temptation for others to mess with it.

I got a generic brand that was sized for a "full-size cruiser" - fully waterproof, and it fits the Uly with the side bags on. I, unfortunately, have four bikes and no garage, so they need good covers. The neighbors think I'm nuts. My kingdom for a garage!

I have one also. It's a dust/prying eyes cover. It will keep most of the dew off the seat overnight....

I looked at the Buell covers, but the only one that was advertised as waterproof, was the little demi-cover. I ended up going with the Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus in the adventure touring size. Overall it is a little long, but will cover the bike with either the side cases or the top cases, but it gets a little tight if all the cases are on there.

That's not an outdoor cover as I recall . . . I got an FLH cover and it works great. You may have a different one than I am thinking of . . . I bought the FORTRESS . . . under the impression that it was waterproof. As luck would have it, I read the "for indoor use" before I opened it.

The FLH cover works great.

The city screen was advertised as being "water repellent" and gave me the impression as being something to use outdoors on the fly when cruising around the metro if the weather called for it. It doesn't make contact with the engine or pipes so you can put it on right after shutting off the bike which was a selling point to me.

I own the "Fortress" as well. It is definitely just a cover to put on the bike in a garage since it is very breathable.

I actually have model #94434-04yb which is marketed for every Buell except the Uly. It covers my Blast nicely as well as the Uly decently without bags on it. They make a version just for the Uly 94459-05YA which I would guess covers the Uly nicely with the bags attached.

Here are some shots of it on my Uly without bags.
