I miss KANSAS . . . lived there for 44 years and I like the people. I've heard that farmers in Kansas get into fights arguing who has the biggest hills (rocks) in their fields! |

Let's see here... I'll go with just Augusta, GA because there is a lot of Georgia that is nice. Augusta on the other hand, is dirty, the city government is corrupt as can be, hell, the school board is even corrupt. The city has very little of it's own personality, unless you call ghetto personality. One side of street, rich pricks with old money, and on the other, ghetto. Ya, their big claim to fame is the Master's Golf Tournament and they've got golf courses out the ass. You know what??? They would make much better motocross tracks. |

For landscape...Kansans and West Texas are a no go. California for other reasons which is too bad since the countryside is so picturesque. |

Compare Western Kansas or West Texas to someplace like Western Nebraska or the San Joaquin Valley. Odd as it sounds . . . I think there is something cool about being in Odessa, TX and being able to see Midland 32 miles away . . . The great California Valley is the same way. You can be atop a 130' transmission tower and it seems like you can see Canada and Mexico sameultimeously. |

The great California Valley is the same way. You can be atop a 130' transmission tower and it seems like you can see Canada and Mexico simultaneously. Yahbut, if you look east you can see the Sierra Nevada mountains and looking west you'll see the coastal range. I've gotta admit that the valley isn't that great a place to live. |

Is this question about the topography or people ... IMHO, people are people, and more often than not (but not always) respond to how well they are treated. Like the joke about this guy that says all his neighbors are jerks, 'cause he treats everyone like chit.. Topography-wise, any flat, never-ending ground drives me nuts. My favorite state is Nevada - love the desert, even if its flat. . |

I'm fairly certain the topic was raised about topography, but you can't blame people for having some fun with it. |

I'm impressed this thread had touched so many...."hearts". It seems like we all have deep thoughts not just about what places we hate....but why we hate them, how long we've hated them, what started it all, and how we wish we could physically inflict pain on these geographies if it were possible. |

don't like any of pa. from one end to the other the roads suck and they have more ongoing road construction than georgia along 75. there's a tax for everything and there are a lot of politcal crooks there. the only thing they have going on for them is having the only politician to shoot himself while live on the air. why can't all politicians who get caught doing wrong do the same. |

I have not been to every state yet,and I havent been to a state I "hated".I love this country and all the geographic diversity we have. As far as riding,Florida is boring but the beaches are awesome, the glades are cool,so are the Keys. JMHO |

How can you dislike an entire state??? And because of politics? Those kinds of folks are the people that are tearing apart the country; they truly suck. |

Ha! I'm pretty sure I've read some pretty raunchy vitriol spewed forth from your keyboard aimed at liberals/progressives/blue states. I must be imaging things...You are a non-partisan consensus builder. |

I hate riding in big cities, and not because they are blue. A clusterf**k of unattentive driving is the rub. |

I must be imaging things...You are a non-partisan consensus builder. You've been caught making an embarrassingly bigoted comment. I harbor no such bigotry towards any state in our union. I disagree with people and political groups on actual issues, policies, agendas, and behavior. Bigots who hate entire collections of states for their political leanings SUCK and are the very people who are driving our nation apart. |
