They should have taken his picture on a Buell for the website. I think they posted his supplied picture from the entry and he is sitting on some jap sport touring bike. I can't really tell, but it looks like a Concours. The ride does sound great. I'm glad Buell did this even if I was too lazy to enter anything myself. Buell's print ad I saw in the current issue of Rider magazine really left me feeling as if I don't belong in the Buell family. It is so arrogant, so full of bravdo and macho bluster-crap. The essay thing makes up for that - for now, but I hope Buell will reconsider their current obnoxiousness campaign. | ||

Great American Adventure?!?! He barely made it out of Montana! A friend and I hit all of the destinations he mentioned (after riding from Michigan) and continued onto northern Cali...then road the coast until we ran into Mexico...then headed back to Michigan. I guess I was just expecting some kind of masterpiece to deserve a free Uly! (Message edited by smac on September 18, 2009) | ||
