Nope, still the same.

Only change was they removed the mesh part on the 08's, it is the same pipe as the 07 STT.

New bearings, heck, it looks like a new bike to me...

Seriously, looks like the new wheel, with the 3 bearing setup, and a bigger axle.

Black axle is the tipoff to the 3 bearing setup. AFAIK the axle size is unchanged...just the shouldering is different. But, I have yet to put my hands on one to verify.

I still have to ride our '10. How's the drivability with the second O2 sensor? I know the comfort kit does its job, I put one on my 06 and love it..just curious if they hit a second home run with the new O2.

My mistake, I thought I had seen somewhere where the ID of the bearings was bigger, but, it looks as if I was wrong. I thought I had read the ID had grown too, but upon more searching it looks like it was just the OD.

"How much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black."

That thing looks awesome.

Too sweet!

I probably can't say that, but is definitely the truth.

Looks Good!

The windscreen looks like it is shaped different than my 08XT. I wonder how it affects the wind noise?

nobuell--the X and XT come with different windscreens from the factory. The X has a shorty and the XT has the touring screen which works better IMO.

I noticed they are running the clutch cable differently, no need for the cable clamp off the handlebars.

To say I'm jealous would be a huge understatement.

Beautiful bike. Congrats. Enjoy!

But if the clutch cable is routed differently, what's gonna block your view of the digital display?

Cash,

My 08XT has the larger screen. It appears from the pics and the Buell website that the 2010 screen has a different shape than my XT. It looks like the top has a lip type shape.

Any reports on wind noise?

About the windshields, it might just be camera angles and such, the 2008, 2009, and 2010 look very similar. I am not aware of any changes over the years. Here is a 2008 and 2009 for reference:

I like old airbox graphic better. The rest of the bike is REAL nice.

i don't know if it's the lower seat height or the tires but confidence in the twisties is greatly improved.

Wind noise is very subjective, its affected by helmet, jacket, windshield, handlebars, your riding position, speed, environment, exhaust, and at least a dozen other factors. Short answer, buy it and try it.

From these pictures, it seems to me like the 2010 shield has no upsweep at the top of the shield, which is where I was placing the blame for the buffeting I was experiencing with the stock shield.

But like Froggy says, it could be just camera angles and such...

Froggy/Trevd

I thought the same. I checked the Buell Website and blew-up the picture and it sure looks like the 2010 has different curvature than my 08. Could be the camera angle though. Is there a different part #?

If there is a different part number, I don't know it and never saw it. I shall do more digging : )
