Erik is everywhere. I've met him three times at various events. When the dealer show was here in Nashville and they unveiled the 1125R, I sneeked in to get a peek. There was Erik, standing next to the bike. He stood there and talked with me like I belonged there, regardless of the fact that I had no badge on. I get the feeling if this would have been a dealer show for another brand, I'd have been asked to leave. Instead, I was allowed to sit on the bikes, take pictures, and talk to the guy who's name is on the bike as well as the marketing and engineering team. Another reason to love Buell! | ||

The shirts are coming...our order is supposed to arrive around mid-Oct. +1000. Erik is one of the most approachable, down-to-earth guys I've ever met. And he really is....well...everywhere. | ||

Yep, I met him again yesterday, and he was just wandering around at the races like any other person, nothing like the POTUS with 900 suits surrounding him. In fact he was standing next to Court, and someone went up to Court and said "Hey Erik, can I get a photo with you?" | ||

I think Froggy and a couple folks were around when Erik and I got in the discussion about which one of us time had treated better . . . we were asking the photo model gals . . . and they couldn't stop laughing . . . but weren't about to touch the question. I just seem so young and vibrant.  I look at this photo from yesterday and the similar photos we've taken, starting when we were both in our 30's and will say one thing . . . it's a damn good thing we both married well! This weekend was an absolute hoot and it was so special to have so many Buell folks present . . in case you haven't guessed . . Erik enjoys it just as much as it appears he does. | ||

I watched it on Speed Channel last night. At one point the cameras were pointed at a group of Buell riders at a fence in what looked like a campground. Looked like three guys wearing Buell shirts, got at good look at the faces, but don't recognize them. Who are you? |
