Lots of space 2. Tough 3. non-leak is a must 4. ease of removal and install 5. Must allow for as must space as passenger as Buell bags. 6. Room for two full face helmets. 7. Be able to lock cases to bike. The stock bags would work, but the toughness part seems to be an issue, Caribou’s and Touratech’s are nice except, the helmet issue is a problem since there is no rear case option. No room for a helmet. Cheaper option to the Gobi's is the Pelican 1440's and a locking mechanism can be made, but it won't be quick release. Outdoorsman: 19.3 x 8.66 x 11.4 Journey: 19.69 x 11.8 x 11.41 The width is the real difference between the two sets of bags, giving the Journeys a capacity of 2651 cui vs 1905 cui for the Outdoorsmans. Sorry, I don't have dimensions handy for the top cases.
