This would have saved my about $300 if I had done it a couple months ago.

I put mine in my gloves which hang over the handlebar next to the left side control cluster. Where did you get the taxi driver seat cover????

What I use. www.beadrider.com Probably have a good 20K on them and they are still going strong. They give a little air flow and have a massage element to them. They also add to the seat height, which may be a problem to some.

Yes, that is a bead rider. It only covers the rear portion of the seat. It was added by my passenger when we started to take longer trips. She loves it.

As an explanation for my mod, I wear glasses and wear a full-face non-flipup helmet. So the glasses have to go somewhere when the helmet is going on. I usually put them on the seat, and occasionally they fall off. The last time they fell off, I discovered that fact by stepping on them and hearing a loud crunch. Of course they were only a month old at that point. And of course I was right outside Cincinnati. I don't live anywhere near Cincinnati. So I bent them more or less back into shape, but there were never really right again.

Now I have a new pair, and I am looking to avoid a repeat of that incident.

Yes, I am getting old. But I could sense it just fine. I heard something crush, thought "whats that" and kicked them to see what they were. Perhaps it's my brain that is showing it's age.
