I paid $9680 this month for a 09 XT. The bike had been purchased in Mar. of this year, it had 582 miles on it when I picked it up. The thing I couldn't believe was I was the only one that bid on it on ebay! Right place right time? | ||

Two weeks ago paid $9250. (+Dealer Charges) for new 2009 12x. Ended up $8,500 out the door with my trade 08 KLR - was not having any luck trying to sell the KLR outright. Love the Uly. | ||

Local dealer wants $11,000 even for an X, and, it doesn't sound like they'll budge. I really want to support my local dealer. They have been great in the little that I've dealt with them, but, I see these prices quoted, and, it makes me consider buying elsewhere. Not to highjack this thread, but, how much would you spend to support your local dealer? I see above $9250 for the same bike. Currently, there is a new X on ebay for a buy it now of $9000. Would you support your local for $2000? $1500? $1000? That's not chump change, and, fly/ride is always a good time  thoughts? | ||
