Did I read somewhere that the flash that goes along with the comfort kit is not available for the 06 or did I just make that up in my head? If it is not, does anyone have any idea why? I installed the rest of the kit and it makes a very noticeable difference. Much cooler on the gas tank right side, and already much less fan running.

From what I understand the 06 and 07 have a different version of fuel injection than the 08's and newer and the flash is not designed for them. That's ok, we can use ecmspy! Glad to hear it's helping, I'm out in the garage doing mine right now, just taking a coffee break. Union rules you know!

In another thread the poster know as "anonymous" said that the comfort kit flash did not apply to the '06/'07 models. There was no elaboration as to why the flash did not apply.

The '08 and later engines have an improved engine management system. These updates, unfortunately, cannot be retrofitted to the earlier engines.

Thanks. I checked with the service dept at my local dealer and they didn't seem to have a clue, just that it would cost $89.
