Hello Guys and Gals,

I was getting ready to leave work while engine was heating up, so i drove off normal speed 3k revs, after a few miles i was reving 3,5k and suddenly the oil light turned on and the engine stalled, i pulled of to a side of the road tried to fire it up and it fired up straight away and no oil light on, working fine till home, I did with the ecm spy an the palm and error code check, nothing appeared, i checked the oil level and it was correct. First time it has ever happened. Have not done any tps or afv settings for a long time, and all seemed to be fine.

Any ideas?any thing i should check?

Thanks,

Miguel

Did you turn the bike, then back on before cranking it? If so, I'd say it's probably your BAS (bank angle sensor). There was a recall on 2006 and early 2007 Ulys that moved this to the back of the underseat compartment (behind the seat latch) to get it away from the heat of the engine (before that it was mounted adjacent to the ECM). Even if the recall has been done, they have been known to fail occasionally.
