Had the stator fail and need a PN. I did a search but came up blank. I'm at work with the part manual at home. Anyone throw me a bone for an 06 stator!! This is not how I wanted to start my 4 day weekend | ||

31390-91E described as: STARTER MOTOR, complete (black). this is for the 08 but i'm sure is the same as for the previous, you can always phone a dealer. | ||

Thanks but The STATOR, not starter, changed in 08. I found the number 29971-02ya Just for anyone else that may have it happen to them and ease of search on the BW | ||

Are you sure you have a bad stator? Be sure and check the 77 connector if not already done. | ||

I did all the checks. Now the stator crapped VR new new battery (It was old and original anyway) did an output check of the the stator and only 1 of the 3 phases are putting out voltage. The regulator was trying but I think I killed a new VR too. When I did the ohm checks before I replaced the 3rd VR it checked ok and now it is done. Maybe it was intermittent and only grounds out when hot?? either way it's toast now, at least one phase. have one coming from American Sport Bike. |
