I was looking at an 09 XB12XT the other day. The windshield was taller and had a curve at the top. Is this the "tall" windshield offered on the Buell website? I couldn't tell from the picture if it was curved like the one on the XT. |

Don't have the Buell tall screen but used to have a Cee-Baily that had a flip at the top .. it was bigger than the stocker. It its a Cee-Baily you should see their name etched at the bottom of the screen. The flip also disturbs the air flow and increases turbulence. Hopefully someone with a Buell Tall will chime in a confirm/deny for sure. |

Yes, that was the tall offered on the Buell website. I have one on my XT. I also ordered a short, but it's still in the wrapper.... |

I had one. It is the same. Remember when it comes to windshields your height and inseam are the big factors. Inseam being one of the bigger. |

I just put a Cee-Baily on my bike and I liked it. It's 4" taller that the tall Uly windshield and a lot wider. You do get a little more turbulence but you stay a lot drier in the rain. Plus It looks kinda cool. |

Thanks for the information, I kinda liked the looks of the XT screen. What Gamdh made sense about the flip causing turbulence. I'm just looking for a little more protection than the stock Uly screen provides. 6'2"-34" inseam. |

Buellmeister Your about the same size as me... I currently have the madstad bracket and in the hot weather I use the stock screen and in the cold weather I use the 16" Parabellum. I did a lot of experiments... could not find one wind shield that would do what I wanted. So, down to 2 shields with the adjustable mount. Works good for me. You might want to do a search as well.. there are a lot of threads about windshields. |

Too many choices! After owning a Cyclone for 8+ years, I'm not used to all this aftermarket stuff that's available for my Uly! |
