I remember seeing some other riders with the deluxe tank bag zipper issues. Since mine has pulled apart, was wondering if anyone found somewhere to install a new zipper? Where should I look, taylor?, leather repair? At 150 bucks a pop, I expected it to last longer, and hope to have it repaired instead of buying another. | ||

You may try a canvas shop that does work on boats. I had a zipper on large bag replaced at the shop that did the canvas on a boat I had. | ||

Ah yes! Why didn't I think of that? There's a few of them around here thanks! Will post back the results for others with the same problem. | ||

I had several zippers on BMW tank bags replaced at shoe shops. They normally had a better zipper. | ||

I was quoted around 60 bucks for a new zipper installed around town. A gal at a local shoe repair shop restitched mine for 8 bucks. It's holding up good. |
