Well I am not really eager to sell the bike but if it can help with my situation then I guess for a not so bad price I can do it. I am going through the big "D" again and need to get some things taken care of.

The bike is well used. It was a daily rider. 83 miles a day come rain or shine. 12 months a year. Located in Alabama. 60k on the bike and has been from Alabama to Illinois 5 times.

Bike has been low sided due to hitting a deer. Everything has been fixed except the right side bag. It is scuffed and worn through. Rear breaks need to be replaced and am planing on doing before sale unless not needed. Clutch cable replaced at 45k and both front/rear bearings replaced at 48k. Looking to start at $5000.00 but can go lower but if not worth it I will keep.

This was from day purchased. The bike has been maintained very good. Oil changed every 3000 miles and the primary was changed when I installed new clutch cable. Let me know if interested.

For any interested parties, I would not be afraid of the 60K miles on this bike. My '06 engine looked very good inside (hone marks still in cylinders) at 55K miles.

Syn Oil is so good these days that there is no reason that hone marks shouldn't be visible at 100K miles. The rings aren't supposed to make contact with the cylinder walls because the oil film is between the "almost" contacting parts. That is why synthetic oils are all that I use. They purportedly cling to parts and don't leave the engine unprotected at startup like plain jane dino might. Professor, correct me if my assumptions are incorrect.

Buelltoys,
Is that a statue of the Virgin Mary that stands covered behind your bike?

That is a covered up Buell Blast. I bought it 6 months before the Uly as my first bike. Still have it also. Runs good with 9000 miles on it. Drive it when I got the Uly down for service.

I think motor oil in generally is much better these days. I picked up a used Datsun 210 station wagon many years ago from my boss for a couple of hundred bucks. One cylinder was full of water; turned out the head gasket had corroded through and leaked.

With 150,000 miles on it and nothing but dino oil, there were clear hone marks in the cylinders and no sign of wear. I put a head gasket on it and drove it for another 20,000 miles before I swapped it to a friend for a small pickup.
