I went to the 2010 Buell lineup and had to laugh at the description for the Blast

Than I rolled over the pic and saw this and about spit my coffee out all over my keyboard I was laughing so hard.

Was the Buell site hacked or is this common for Buell to demean their entry level bike?

Dude- you have GOT to venture to other parts of Badweb occasionally:

~7 pages of discussion follows that post.

If you watch the videos, you'll see there IS no 2010 Blast !

There will be a 2010 Blast, there is no 2010 Buell Blast.

Buell is taking a more decisive performance tact and it begins with loosing baggage. The Blast was fine for its purpose, but a racing company, created by a privateer, innovated to a high relevance in the industry and sport, does not make a Blast.

Don't ask me how I know this.

I can't see how this bodes well for the Uly. I mean, clearly our Ulys benefit hugely from Buell's performance focus, but if the Blast was "baggage" then isn't it possible that the adventure bike may be the next thing to be reclassified as extraneous?

Just don't get caught sitting on it and the Uly may survive lol.

"Baggage" was their #1 selling bike.

Being a fan of thumpers I was hoping that Buell would spin off some other bikes of the Blast platform, like a Uly light Blast.
