I went to the local Ford dealer & measured the stripes
on a 2009 Shelby 500 GT then applied the same ratio to
the fly screen of the Uly.

It worked out almost exactly to 2" stripes, 5/16" apart.

Although, I think I might switch to a reflective silver stripe.

All my bikes have been black, but I can get behind this. Definitely looks like a hot rod.

Although it was done to scale with the Shelby - I think the space between the stripes may be too narrow.

Hey Tread.

Do me a favor and measure that for me - I really like that stripe a lot.

BTW, is that vinyl or paited on?

I remember seeing those last year on the website. I'd scale it based on an actual Hypermotard, but I keep mine up in NC during the summer (and I'm in Florida right now. )
My guess is 4", but it would be best to proportion it to the Uly.

Here's another proof of concept, based on the Ducati stripe, using
printing paper just to get an idea of the proper proportions.

3.4" center stripe and pinstripes.

The proportions seem pretty close to me.

Maybe the dual stripe will look better because
of our dual headlights?

I agree with your thought that the spacing between the 2 stripes is too close. I'd increase it a little at a time until the look is right.
I've always wanted to add some green striping, but then I'd want to black out the wheels, and add a green pinstripe to the edge, then.....
