Noticing that there isnt alot of ULY participation out in the main thread about the scavenger photos. There is a great chance to get your ULY in on the fray. Citxslicker- Thanks for the invite. I've been watching but that game moves pretty fast. If I'm not home at the computer with the bike in the driveway ready to go it's kind of hard to get involved. I could grab your challenge this morning but that's about an 80 mile round trip for me. I have been playing "SC Tag-o-rama" over at advrider: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42 6382 If you go to the regional forums section, and then the one for your region of the country, you'll find at least a thread or two for your state. It's a similar game, except that the challenger posts a photo of his bike at a landmark and gives a clue. Your challenge is to figure out where the photo was taken, ride there, get a photo of your bike at the same location, and post it before anyone else. Then you ride to a new location, take a photo and post it with a clue. File photos are allowed for new locations. Here's a tag I posted this week: -------------------------------------------- Man, I had to ride a LONG ways to get the new tag:  Well, not quite that far...   -------------------------------------------- The problem with this game is that somebody from 250 miles away on the other side of the state can grab the tag and take it back. Then you've got to wait for circumstances to line up perfectly on a weekend (you know exactly where the tag is, you've got the time to go, etc.) to be able to play. It's fun, but it can be frustrating when the tag bounces back and forth between 2 or 3 guys at the other corner of the state for ~4 weeks straight. Badweb's game is a lot more user-friendly from that standpoint. Hopefully I'll be able to jump in on this one too. |
