I was wondering if any of you have mounted a US Flag on your ULY? I would like to mount one to my bags someway. I have went to the HD dealerships but they have not been to helpful. Thanks for the Help. Pics would be great if you have any. | ||

I had some custom name tapes with the American Flag on one set and the other has the Oklahoma state flag. I put one on each side of the bike just above the lights near the adjustment holes. I got them from this website. http://www.vcgraphix.com/us/store/detail.asp?invID =327&display=detail | ||

Something like this or bigger. The problem I am having is this type of mount doesn't work with the bags on a ULY. Maybe something mounted to the bar. I need ideas. I borrowed this pic off the internet, so whomsoever this pic belongs to, I am not trying to steal anything. Just getting a reference on how to mount a flag to my bike.  | ||

Make sure the mount & pole is STURDY. Did a "Pride Ride" (never again, but that is another story) - saw 3-5 big flags, with their poles, on the roads. Ended up following a cruiser w/ a honkin' big flag on a wooden pole. Every time we got above 60 the pole took a huge wow. Don't mind the thought of laying it down for Old Glory but not by getting hit w/ a hunk of broken pole |
