The weather was so nice I could not help but to blow off the things I had to do yesterday and jump on the XB and hit the road. Ended up top of Mt. Rainer and what a great ride it was. Sunny, clear, not a lot of traffic, and breath taking scenery....the ride was FANTASTIC!
The temp was near 90 but my butt sure did not feel the heat, thanks ODIE! Your heat barriers worked like a CHAMP!
The only time I had any type of PUCKER factor on my ride was just before leaving the National Park, when a yearling doe jumped out of the tree line right next to me! Luckily it decided that it just wanted to admire the Ulysses from about 2 feet away and not come in closer for a kiss!

I know where the bestest camping spot is in the park. It's not far from the Ohanapakosh park campground.
