I want to install hyperlights. Instructions are simple but how do I get to the wires rear tailight wires. Does the rear assembly unbolt from the bottem under the fender and drop down,so you can get to the wires | ||

Remove the seat, remove the seat latching mechanism. Unplug the wires from the brakelight harness. That should give you enough slack. I stuck the hyperlight controller to the seat latch mechanism base. I picked up the switched power and grounding from the rear accessory plug (I think you need them for the Hyperlights, I may be thinking of another farkle....) | ||

does anyone know if you remove the two bolts under the rear fender if the whole rear section drops out, sorry I really need to get a shop manual | ||

Yep, the plastic drops out from below....no harm in removing any of those screws under the tail so you can get access. Still have to do as Rwven said .... | ||
