I was told Thundermax is testing one of their management systems for Buells. The folks at Zippers seem to like the Thundermax on Harleys. I was curious if anyone had any opinion or experience on their other rides? This a link to a Buell Factory Tour. Thundermax is the best, IMO, fuel injection software made. You don't need a dyno to dial it in as it does it itself. You install the hardware. download the software closest to your set-up. i.e. pipes, intake, cams etc. You fire it up and let it idle while it learns the machine and then you go ride it. If your set-up is exactly what they have your most likely done but if it was only similar then you might save your maps and reinstall them so it will learn some more. It seems it will only change things so much and hits a wall and you must pull it out and reinstall to allow more movement. It's very simple once you learn it. The book is thick but understandable for a non geek like myself. It's the only system my friend uses in his shop. It's expensive but worth it in the long run considering you don't need to pay for any dyno time! | ||
