Here at BadWebber, I’ve seen different ways to configure/secure the outer cover plate that is for the adjustment of the timing. (I retarded mine timing by 3 Degrees to stop the pinging that I got on the hot day conditions and my aggressive wrist) After drilling a tapping, I’ve chosen to use some old aircraft hardware (drilled head) that is in my miscellaneous scrounge drawer, along with some .025 safety-wire. When I come across the removable plastic rivets I’ll use them and remove what I presently have. It might be awhile, I can be a great procrastinator. Thought I would share…
Vibration proof.
