Ok boy's, I was at Hal's on whatever date the Buell Homecoming Gala took place in East Troy. I noticed two Uly's that had some modifications I liked and might want to try if they're not too expensive. One of the bikes was a red Uly with some sort of large windshield that either came down on the sides a bit or had small side shields on the right and left sides. The other bike was a Uly (I think) that had auxilliary lights on the front that clamped on to the fork(s) leg(s) with a beefy aluminum clamp that was two pieces like a connecting rod and cap or a real clip-on bar. I couldn't take pictures as my phone was lost at the time.

Crusty made a set of light bar things that are exactly like you describe.

I don't have any closer pictures:

So they are home made. I was thinking of making a set but saw these and figured it may be easier to buy.

Here's a close up.

Aux. light mount

Please pardon the crappy paint on the crappy $20.00 Aux. lights.

Skinstains, those aux lights you got sitting on the bench would be perfect on that setup.

Lumalink also makes aux. light brackets that look very much like Crusty's. They're expensive, though - $195/pr.

Yeah Froggy those lights kick ass. I got the torch out and some steal flat stock and made a light bar similar to yours so I would have my aux. lights on my Wisconsin trip. Those effin' lights are so bright that I couldn't use them. If they weren't blinding oncoming traffic or even the traffic in front of me, they were blinding me. They reflected off of the road signs and markers like nothing I've ever seen. I will have to re-mount them so I can rotate them down a bit. I'll post a picture of them if I can remember how.

Here is a couple of pics of the AUX light that are on my ULY. They are mounted on a 1" aluminum bar that is mounted to the fender.

There is a toggle switch on the dash to turn them off and on that also turns off when the key turns off.

I really don't know what kind of lights they are, but they are brighter than the headlights.

I have found the WOW sticker to be useless as a flash trigger as you would have to be in the slow lane with cars passing you for it to work. I do most of my work in the fast lane. It does however proclaim my indulgence in the O&A show. If you look closely you will see that it covers an old WNEW O&A sticker that I finished covering with one of those gay new Buell stickers.

I had my lights running through the ignition switch and a seperate relay with it's own dedicated fused power supply off of the battery but they still popped the ignition fuse if I mistakenly turned them both on at the same time. I have since seperated them completely from the bikes controls with a hidden switch that powers up the aux light system. They work great now.

I would be willing to pay good money for a good product that put the lights where I want them. Over $100 wouldn't be a problem. I immagine the more people who want them would lower the price right ? Where is your friends shop ?

I mounted a set of PIAA lamps, (sorry, I don't know the model) but they are small in diameter, and they are rated 100 watt @35 watt. They are the superbrite bulb. I machined an aluminum bar that mounts to the triple tree, and used the wiring harness from PIAA. the bracket looks like Ericcogdell's set-up, and there is no vibration through the bracket. I bought the lights on Ebay, for $100.00
