Did the Buell test ride on Saturday. Rode the 1125CR the Ulysses XT and the Lightning. I have to say I still think the XBs are the way to go with a Buell. I found the CR to be really nice but it wasn't near the fun I had on the Lightning or the Uly. I am usually the first person to jump on a new technology band wagon but I found the XBs to be the most fun of all. My friend Bill who went with me came away with the same impression and he is a Suzuki Bandit owner. He just kept saying how much fun the Thunderbolt was. He liked it a lot more than the 1125R he road. I have to say the 1125s were much better running than they were in the past. I have decided my next new bike will be a Buell Ulysses XT but I am waiting till they get ABS. Don't wait forever Buell we want the latest even though we love the old mill. | ||

I rode the 1125cr friday and liked it. My back is getting too old to be bent over all day though. When I got back on my 08XT and headed home I knew I had already picked the right bike for me. Don't wait for everything to be perfect, go get the XT that's available. | ||

I already have an 06 XB12X. The only way I go for the XT is if it gets ABS. Mine has the XT fender and looks so much like an XT there is no point. But I have tried other bikes and I just have a great relationship with the XBs. I know they won't be available forever but I will enjoy them while they last. |
