Headed down from Newfound Gap towards Gatlinburg. Had a larger than usual windscreen, hard bags, and both lights were lit. Was it one of you guys? I was on a road bike(pedal), heading up. I would have waved, but I was trying not to black out. :-) | ||

I do love the ride over New Found Gap too. I have been hoping to get there soon. I haven't made it to any of the favored mountain crossings yet this year, thus, this year sucks so far!  | ||

Try it on a bicycle sometime. It was fun until around the Chimney Tops trailhead, after that I didn't like my bike anymore. Then a thunderstorm hit as I was finishing the climb to Clingman's Dome. I need to get out there on the Uly again soon and remember why I like that area. | ||
