Need help. I downloaded esmspy and the drivers. I bought a cable from Al at American Sport Bike. I connected the cable, Turned the ignition and kill switch on, clicked on connect and auto detect and bam, just like its supposed to it worked. My problem is I haven't been able to connect again. I follow the same procedure, but when I click auto detect, it comes back with can't connect. I am running Windows Vista. Any suggestions?

Play around with it. Shut the program off and restart it. Sometimes I have to reboot my laptop. Real PITA.

I know nothing about Vista...

You might also try unplugging and replugging the USB end.??

I read somewhere, if I remember correctly, that ECM SPY must be run from the "owner" account on the computer when your using Vista. This is only what I remember so now someone will jump on here and correct me if I'm wrong and you will have your answer!
